Cute and fun Orlando Date Night Ideas to enjoy an evening out in Central Florida!
Living in Orlando is exciting and fun. There’s always something to do and fun events going on. There’s never a shortage of places to go for a date night in Orlando.
We are raising three little boys, and I’m a huge believer in regular date nights to keep a marriage going strong. This time together keeps us connected as a couple, instead of focusing on our children for a few hours. Our boys are everything to us, but regular time set aside to enjoy as a couple is non-negotiable in my book, and keeps a marriage healthy and strong!
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and if you’re looking for some fun ideas for a date night in Orlando, look no further. Here are some fun ideas for your night on the town:
Orlando Date Night Ideas
1. If you have annual passes to Disney World you can take a monorail “progressive dinner tour” around WDW for some fun! Basically, you book drinks and appetizers at one place (for example, at the Polynesian). Then, hop on the monorail and head to the Grand Floridian for dinner. Then finish the evening with dessert and fireworks at Magic Kingdom, or rides at Epcot.
2. Orlando Eye – Take a ride on the iconic 400-foot tall observation wheel that provides breathtaking views of Central Florida in all directions, with sights of downtown Orlando’s skyline, theme parks, lakes and lush landscape, and on a clear day, views of Cape Canaveral on the east coast. They also offer a Champagne Experience for a more romantic evening, and a “Love is in the Air” Valentine’s Special. There’s also restaurants close-by to extend your date night fun.
3. Helicopter Ride – Take an exciting tour of Orlando from 1,000 ft up in the air! See things like you’ve never seen them before.
4. Movie night – Fifty Shades Freed comes out in movie theaters TODAY! My husband and I had the chance to see an advanced screening of it earlier this week! We definitely loved the movie, and enjoyed our date night out. The flick features lots of romance (of course!), fast cars, a bit of danger, and thrills. It’s the perfect movie to take your date to see this week, especially with Valentine’s Day coming up.
