Are you hosting a brunch soon? A girlfriend gathering, Mother’s Day brunch, or baby shower? Find out the must-have Sunday brunch essentials for a fun and successful morning feast…
We’ve been in our new home for about a month and a half now. I adore my home, and the community we live in. There are a lot of families that live in the area with children around the same age as my boys, which is great! Making new mom friends isn’t really something I love to do (Forgive me for sounding like the Grinch, but does anyone enjoy this??)…but I’m trying!
There’s a Facebook group for moms in our neighborhood, which has been helpful to connect to other moms in the area. One of the things they do is brunch at each other’s homes. I love this idea! It’s a cute way to meet each other in a laid back atmosphere. Plus, who doesn’t love brunch?!
Since cooking is kind of my jam, this got me thinking that maybe I’ll even host one of these mom-brunches at my own home.

Sunday Brunch Essentials and Ideas
First things first, good drinks are a staple to a successful brunch.
Have a variety of delicious juices on hand for your brunchin’ guests such as: orange juice, tomato juice, or a healthy green juice. Most important of all the drinks is of course, COFFEE! My go-to coffee is Dunkin’ Donuts® coffee (that I can conveniently grab in the coffee aisle of my local Publix!) I am really loving the Bakery Series with amazing flavors like Vanilla Cupcake and Cinnamon Coffee Roll. The best conversations happen over a delicious cup of coffee right?!
Dunkin’ Donuts offers many varieties, flavors and forms (K-Cup or Grounds) so you can brew your coffee however you’d like. PS – You can take $1.00 off any ONE (1) Dunkin’ Donuts varieties now through 5/6/17 at your local Publix, while supplies last (Yay!)
On to the food…
Sunday brunch always needs a variety of different food options. Something sweet, something savory, and some (or lots of) side items.
For the something sweet, these super cute stacks of mini pancakes make a big impression! They’re super cute, simple to make, and easy for guests to pick up a stack and eat them.
For something savory, I love the idea of a skillet quiche. It’s a great dish to share with friends, and insanely delicious.
For side items you can serve fresh fruit, bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuits with assorted jams…the possibilities are endless, really.
Thoughtful little extras
No brunch would be complete without extra touches like: pretty napkin rings, nice placemats, and other beautiful and well-placed accessories.
The most important ingredient to a successful Sunday Brunch is to enjoy the company that you’ll be sharing the food and drinks with. Eat, drink, and be merry, my friends!
