Make this adorable Easter dessert to add some pizzaz to your feast…
I’m in serious Easter prep mode right now. Figuring out what we will cook for our guests, table decor, planning out Easter baskets, and more! One thing I know for sure is we will have some super delicious Easter desserts.
I love the idea of mini desserts, like these adorable mini dirt pies I shared a few days ago. I also created a larger pie that can be the centerpiece of your Easter dessert table. If you want to create a cute and delicious Easter dessert that your whole family will love here’s what you’ll need to get started:
Easter Dessert Chocolate Nest Pie
– (1) Jell-O Chocolate Pudding Mix
– 2 cups cold milk
– 1 package cream cheese (room temperature)
– (1) 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
First, add Jell-O Pudding Mix and cold milk to stand mixer and beat until completely mixed.
Then, add in cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk, and mix again until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. (Note – you could totally make this without the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk, and simply make the bottom layer Jell-O Chocolate Pudding. The way I’m showing makes it more of a chocolate cheesecake…and oh so tasty!)
Once all ingredients are mixed, pour the batter into the graham cracker pie crust. Chill for at least an hour in the fridge to allow the pies to become firm.
While the pie is setting, add OREO cookies to a large zip top bag and crush the cookies until they’re super crumbly!
After chilling, remove the pie from the fridge. Pour crushed up OREO cookies on top of the pie.
Finally, place a PEEP chick on top of the nest.
There you have it, a lovely Easter dessert! Enjoy your chocolate nest pie with your “peeps”!
