I had the chance to attend the 2017 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival over the weekend, and it was a blast! If you follow me over on Instagram you may have seen a sneak peek at what I was up to at the festival.
– , 2017 so there’s plenty of time to experience all of the delightful dishes and sights that Epcot has to offer. If you’ve never experience the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival then you’re in for a treat! There’s food, drinks, gardens, concerts, and more!
2017 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival
Upon entering Epcot you’ll be greeted by amazing live sculptures created by world-class horticulturists. They’re extraordinarily beautiful, and many have Photo Pass opportunities in front of them.
This year the festival is bigger and better with lots of new offerings. There’s two new Outdoor Kitchens this year, which means even more delicious food for you to enjoy! Click here for full listing of the Outdoor Kitchens you’ll find serving up flavorful fare throughout the World Showcase. I was able to taste many of the dishes that are available at the festival and the food is spectacular!
Honestly, it was some of the best food I’ve experienced at Disney World. One of my favorite things I sampled was the Carne Asada with Black Bean Cake and Cilantro-Lime Sour Cream which is available at the Florida Fresh Outdoor Kitchen in between Morocco and France. This new-to-the-festival dish was beyond flavorful and I may have gone back for seconds (I’ll never tell!)
Beyond the food, you can also catch an exciting concert 4 nights per week! The Garden Rocks Concert Series features exciting acts like Jon Secada, The Pointer Sisters, Simple Plan, Gin Blossoms and more. Click here for a full concert line up.
Another exiting happening at the 2017 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is the Egg Hunt! This year you can hunt for eggs in the World Showcase throughout the entire 90 day festival (woohoo!) Using an egg map, you mark where each of the character eggs are, then trade your map in for an egg. Such a fun idea.
Overall, this is an awesome festival, and I’ll definitely go back again before it ends. For more information about the exciting 2017 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival please click here.
