Step onboard the Disney Wonder cruise ship for a peek at what this magical floating vacation has to offer you and your family…
This year, my pregnancy didn’t allow me to attend the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration. (Although at last year’s #DisneySMMC I had a blast!) Part of the Celebration is taking place on the Disney Wonder cruise ship, and last week I had a fun opportunity to step onboard the Disney Wonder without leaving the port!
It was a fun-filled day touring all the ship has to offer, watching the amazing Frozen, a Musical Spectacular, and having a delicious lunch at Tiana’s Place. If you follow me over on Instagram you may have already seen some of the fun behind the scenes pictures from the ship!

The Disney Wonder embodies the Disney Cruise Line tradition of blending the elegant grace of early 20th century transatlantic ocean liners with contemporary design to create a stylish and spectacular cruise ship. (Todd Anderson, photographer)
Onboard the Disney Wonder cruise ship
My kids have watched Frozen more times than I can count, and we regularly jam out to the soundtrack in the car. So I was pretty excited to see the characters come to life on stage for Frozen, a Musical Spectacular. The show, which is exclusively onboard the Disney Wonder, was in fact absolutely spectacular! The on stage characters truly embodied the personas of the animated Frozen characters in the movie. The show was engaging, entertaining, and had special Disney magic sprinkled throughout.

We had lunch at Tiana’s Place, which is exclusive to the Disney Wonder, and inspired by Princess Tiana from the Disney animated feature The Princess and the Frog. The cuisine is southern-style, integrating many flavors and ingredients of the Louisiana bayou. My favorite was Tiana’s Buttermilk Beignets, which I could’ve eaten an endless amount of! So, so delicious!
The rest of the Disney Wonder is quite wonderful as well. Can you say “water slide”??

From the awesome pools, night clubs, Senses spa, kids’ clubs, and SO much more, it’s amazing that they were able to get me off of the ship! I did not want to leave. It was like being transported to the most magical floating place on earth! It has everything you could want or need (and even it’s own onboard Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!), it’s cruising done only like Disney can!
